Dreadful book
The class itself is hard enough..sometimes we look for books to help lead the way. This is not the case with this book. The wording is extremely confusing, samples are not well explained and the software is not IT friendly, meaning that it only works on PCs and older ones at that. The whole thing is a mess. I am a beginner at stats, and i look for ways to learn materials better. Some books in my program have helped, this is not one of them. Overall, terribly written (this is supposed to be for beginners...not pros) I would suggest a different book if you need it to be broken down correctly to you.

I have been cheated
This book is bought from a seller of Amazon but not Amazon.
firstly, this book is in bad condition, I mean really bad.
secndly, this is not the 3rd edition.
last, there is no CD-ROM, InfoTrac , or Decision Tools and Statistic Tools Suite in it at all.

Statistical Purchase
I purchased this product with the description stating it included the Stats Tools CD. When I received the product the CD was not included, which made the text useless to me. I did receive a prompt refund from Amazon and the Seller. I think that transparency is key to buying online. . .

Impossible to decipher, but useful computer tools
I have totally given up on doing reading assigned in this textbook. It's dense, hard to understand, and takes more time than I have just to understand a fraction of it. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that the Excel add-on tools included on the CD with the book are somewhat useful.
